A wearable EEG headset safely captures the brain signals associated with movement intention. The decoded signals are translated into commands for external devices, or into visual and auditory feedback, forming an intention → signal → action → feedback closed loop.
That loop bypasses damaged neural pathways and activates brain neuroplasticity directly — so the patient trains by intending the movement, not by forcing the limb.

Patients with central nervous system injury — typically stroke — who have reached a rehabilitation plateau and show limited response to conventional therapy. Also applied to cognitive and speech rehabilitation goals.
Strict pre-treatment screening (medical history, cognitive function, device compatibility), individualized parameter settings based on baseline EEG, then closed-loop monitoring with FMA and MMSE scales and functional neuroimaging for dynamic adjustment.

BCI rehabilitation is an emerging technology. It is not a miracle cure: gains depend on the lesion, the time since injury and overall condition. What it does offer is a way to keep progressing when conventional therapy alone has stopped producing change — with objective scales and imaging used to track whether it is working for you, and the plan adjusted accordingly.
